Enzymes are kind of proteins that speed up or
catalyzes chemical reactions. In the process of enzymatic reactions, the
molecules at the start of the process are known by the name of
substrates. The enzyme is able to convert them into the products. Many
enzymes are seen to work by lowering the activation energy of the
